One of the most captivating aspects of manta rays is their intricate patterning, which varies from individual to individual. It is a never-ending source of fascination. I have tried to capture their unique shape and wide wings and incorporate patterning to honor them.
Each sculpture is a labor of love, with every curve carefully crafted to evoke the essence of the manta ray. I use a variety of objects, patterns, textures, and even real coral to impress the clay for designs.
